(November 29, 1943 - April 3, 2018) Peacefully passed into the arms of his Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, in his 75th year. He leaves behind the love of his life, Carol, his wife of 52 years. Cherished and much loved father of Michael (Cheryl Anne), Marc (Kathryn), Paul (Debbie), and Daniel (Carrie). Loving grandpa and papa of Rachel Tatasciore (Michael), Tiana Winchester (Tyler), Chelsey Bolton, Shayna Bolton, and Colton Paquette. Loving GG of Sophia, Alivia, and Michael Tatasciore, and Whitney Desbiens-Bolton. John will be also be sadly missed by the Paquette and Chalykoff families. He will also be missed by his Algoma co-workers, church family, and many friends and neighbours. The family would like to thank Sault Area Hospital's ICU doctors and nurses for their compassion and care. Friends are invited to Bethany Baptist Church (1074 Second Line W) on Saturday April 7, 2018, at 11 am for a Celebration of Life followed by fellowship and refreshments.
