(July 21, 1929 - March 31, 2023)

We thought we saw an angel sitting on her pillow as she lay awaiting for her heavenly call.

Indeed it was confirmed by her voice "Walter I have waited so long for you to come"

Mom is reunited with her husband Walter who left us in 2021.  After 75 years of marriage, once again they are together.

Left in a bittersweet aura, we the family mourn for our beautiful mother - Linda Pozzebon (Morris), Larry Parniak (Wanda), Nick, Sally Anne Agilani (Joe) and Mary Ellen Wenmann (Duane).  Baba of 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a precious great great grandchild.

Those who knew mom ended up loving her.  She modelled her life after her favourite saint, Mother Mary - praying to her for words of wisdom on how to raise and love her family.  Every action and deed always focused on how to be a beautiful mom and wife and friend.

She was our Polish Princess, our Dairy Queen and dad's right hand woman on their farm in Prince Township, our Strawberry Patch Princess in their 10,000 berry plant garden.  Her workaholic ethics was rounded by her love of life and nature which was mirrored in the flower gardens and lawns stretching into the fields where many a weddings were held.  All the while her great sense of humour and laughter sent tingles of pure joy.

She was many things to many:

Our teacher on making pierogis and cabbage rolls and how to enjoy "happy hour" everyday at 4:00 o'clock.

Our counsellor, with a positive attitude who made us hopeful and empowered "that tomorrow will be a better day"

Her memory was impeccable as she seldom forgot a name or acquaintance especially the old favourites from BayView.

We will miss our beautiful mom but we are grateful for her 93 years.  We prayed for her rest after a period of suffering and pain even though we asked for immortality.  We surrendered her and now her spirit will always be with us.

Thank you to the many people who have loved our mom our Baba - Holy Family Parish, F. J. Davey Home Caregivers Cedar Grove 2. CWL, friends and extended families.  Rest in peace sweet angel of God.  We now await your whisper "Come Home"
