February 2, 1974 – July 13, 2020 – Our hearts are completely broken as we announce the death of our one-of- a-kind, funny, charismatic and dedicated family man, John Joseph (J.J.) Parrotti.  John was taken away from us suddenly as a result of a tragic and traumatic incident that happened on Monday, July 6, 2020 resulting in his passing on Monday, July 13, 2020 at the young age of 46.

John was the cherished only son of Linda and Dan (late) Parrotti.  John’s heart ached every day from missing his father and is finally reunited with him.  With that, he leaves behind his grieving mother who he deemed as the rock of the family to hold all the pieces together.  There will be a forever emptiness in the hearts of his sisters, Stephanie Butorac (Tony) and their 2 sons Jessie and Anthony, Lisa Dale-Rains (Michael) and Daniela Parrotti.  He treated them with respect and was always their protector no matter where he was.  John was a devoted and loving uncle to his 2 incredibly handsome nephews Jacob Dale and Andrew Dale (Katelyn) and to his niece and goddaughter Princess Madalyn Parrotti.  Callie, his fur baby buddy, will miss his gentle touch, love and patience. John has joined his late grandparents Jean and John Yukich and Cecilia Milne and Horace Allen in heaven where we are sure he will tell funny jokes and share in all of his adventures that life gave him.  He was an adored nephew to many aunts and uncles and leaves behind lots of cousins who will never forget his charming smile and life of the party attitude.

John was a forever “east-ender” and was part of the East End Crew where many will remember all of the great times especially with his long-time best bud Andrew Teare. John had many friends, from all over, which was a true testament to his fun loving and genuine demeanor.  He was often found watching ‘the game’ and debating over sports trivia and facts.  John stood out amongst many men and he had a way about him that allowed you to gravitate towards him and want to be with him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Lisa’s home (102 Laronde Ave) from 3 pm to 7 pm.  Covid-19 restrictions and social distancing will be observed.  Memorial donations to St. Vincent Place would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522).  Please visit Arthur Funeral Home website obituaries to leave memories and condolences as a keepsake for the family.

A special thank you to all of the first responders, the Sault Area Hospital emergency room staff and the ICU nurses.  You all are the most incredible, selfless and compassionate front-line workers and we are forever grateful for your efforts.
