Age 69 of Sarnia, on Sunday, October 10, 2004 at Bluewater Health Norman Street Site, Sarnia. Beloved husband of Gloria (Williams) Parsons. Loved father of Scott and Teresa Parsons of Alberta, Eric and Felecia Parsons of Brampton, Keith and Elizabeth Parsons of Sault Ste. Marie. Step-father of Dennis Samson of North Bay, and Rodney Samson of Alberta. Adopted father of Gary Gardiner, Debbie Normandin and Noella Hoskin. Dear grandfather of Adrian Parsons, Madeline Parsons and Jacqueline Parsons. Survived by his mother-in-law Mary Williams. Also survived by numerous cousins. Predeceased by his parents William and Melinda (Goodland) Parsons. Friends will be received at the Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Wednesday, October 13, 2004 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Masonic service will be held at the funeral home at 6:30 pm followed by an Eagles service at 7 pm. There will be a reception at the Eagles Club, 765 Phillip St. W., Sarnia on Thursday, October 14, 2004 at 1 pm. Friends will be received at the Barton and Kiteley Funeral Home and Cremation Centre 165 Brock Street, Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday, October 17, 2004 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Barton and Kiteley Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, October 18, 2004 at 11 am. Interment Aberdeen Cemetery, Echo Bay. A reception will be held at the Eagles Club, 246 Wellington St. W., Sault Ste. Marie at 1 pm. Memorial donations to the London Regional Cancer Clinic, the Bluewater Hospital Fund or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
