We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Donald Elwood James Patterson in his 66th year.
In his own words, he leaves behind “the best thing that has ever happened to him”, his wife Jacqui. Proud father to his two daughters, Jordan (son-in-law Jim) and Jessica. Loving grandfather to his two granddaughters, Avery and Alex. Best buddies with Ben, his dog. Don will be greatly missed by family, friends, and the mining community.
As per his request, he’s being cremated and we will be having a private party in his memory. We would like to thank the OPP, paramedics, 911 operator and staff at Matthews Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion during this time. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice and have a drink in his memory.
