It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

Ron was the cherished husband of Elaine (nee Leach) and the beloved father of four children: Elizabeth, Steven, Mark and Adam and seven grandchildren Charlie, Caleigh, Cooper, Rowan, Lucas, Bryce and Nathan.

Born and raised in Orillia, Ron was predeceased by his parents Audrey (nee Greer) Perrott, Joseph Hill and his stepfather Larry Perrott. Ron is survived by his sister Arlene (Wayne) Brennan. He was always proud to be an in-law of the Leach family and an uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Ron was a testament to the phrase "choose a job you love, and you'll never work a day in your life". He travelled extensively for work and enjoyed the drive as much as the people he met. His youthful enthusiasm, love of life and keen sense of humour made people happy to be around him.

Ron loved sports of all kinds, especially the Detroit Red Wings, Soo Greyhounds, and the annual trip to Hamilton with Mark and Adam every fall to watch the TiCats play the Argos. He loved to play baseball, hockey, golf and Sunday games of squash with Adam. Ron passed his love of sports on to his grandsons and would be thrilled to know Bryce is a Jr Greyhound next season.

Many thanks and much gratitude to Phil and the "Dream Team" on Apple Orchard 3 at the FJ Davey Home. They went above and beyond to make Ron's stay feel like home and for that we will be eternally grateful.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be announced.
