It is with great sadness and tremendous love that we announce the passing of Al Peterson. Loving husband and soulmate to Nancy, his wife of 44 years. Loving and deeply proud father of their children Shelley, Lindsay and Eric. Fun, loving and proud Papa Al to Koen and Deklan and father-in-law to Jean-Paul and Tammy. Son of the late Verner and Helga Peterson and brother of Alice (late Carmen) and the late Allan (Lori). Cherished uncle to Mary-Louise, Paula, Alisa, Ashley and Stephanie. Son-in-law to Nellie and the late Bill Black and brother-in-law to Paul. Thank you to Dr. L. Fera and Dr. N. Bowen and SAH nurses and staff especially those from 3C who showed such compassion to Al and his family. Thank you to North East LHIN and CBI caregivers who supported Al and Nancy for a number of years. Thank you also to all of Al and Nancy’s good friends and neighbours, especially Rod for his care and Barry for the visits and many calls. In keeping with Al’s wishes, a private service was held. Cremation and burial have taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel. Donations in Al’s honour, for those who wish, may be made to a charity of choice.
