Kenneth Lee Phillips, 64, well-known “down the line” as “FUR”
Passed away on March 30, 2022, from natural causes. Kenny was born on February 17, 1958, to the late Clifford and Edna (Solomon) Phillips in Thessalon, Ontario. Happy memories of Kenny will remain with his children, Christopher, Jeff (Laura), and Heather (Dele). Kenny will live on through the stories shared with his grandchildren. “Papa Fur” will forever be held in the hearts of his loved ones, family, and friends along the ‘Little White River'. Kenny was preceded by his brother Harold (Mary) and is survived by his sisters, Mary and Marie (Steve), and his brothers Harry (Leeanne) and Nial. His chosen family Shane Seguin and the Maguire clan, were dear to Kenny, and their lived adventures were equally cherished.
Kenny had a poetic way of using nonsense sayings to get his point across, and it always left everyone with a smile. He was always “fit as a fiddle, ready to play”. As a loyal Montreal Canadian fan, he was never seen without his Hab’s hat. Kenny enjoyed a simple life of blue jeans, plaid button-downs, and a mustache. He loved sharing a "good joke", fishing, hunting, playing cards, having a cold beer, and listening to old-time country music. A celebration of life will be held in his honor soon and often after as he lives on in our hearts. Arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services, Elliot Lake.
