Passed away peacefully at ARCH Hospice with family by her side on March 16, 2022, at the age 66.
Joanne retired as a French teacher and dedicated her life to being the best mother to her only son Joffre Pilon (Tasha) and proud gramma to her four grandchildren, Hailey, Riley, Kayden and Zaira.
Daughter of late Gerard Pilon and late Marie -Luce Pilon (Prevost). Youngest of eight siblings, late Madeleine Rouse (late Maurice), late Huguette Carrier (Gerald), late Marie-Paule Lalonde (late Georges Lalonde), late Gilbert Pilon (Fran), Muriel Mariotti (Denis), Rollande Pilon, Daniel Pilon (Dorothy), late Ghislaine Redman (Chuck).
Many cherished her larger than life personality, her great sense of style and contagious laugh. She will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered by friends and extended family.
Family would like to thank the staff at ARCH hospice for making the last days of Joanne’s life comfortable. Also, the homecare nurses and SAH Cancer Clinic. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
