Peacefully at the General Hospital with his family by his side on Saturday, February 14, 2004 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Lillian. Loving father of Douglas (Wanda), Ron Lewis (Rachel), Vincent (Jennifer), Bonnie Pine, Karen Cheechoo (Vern), Gerry (Karen), Marlene Pine (Marten), Marie Pine (Calvin Britton), Sean (Tracey) and Allison Pine (Gerry). Special grandfather of Wesley Murray. Smitty will be sadly missed by his 23 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Ida and the late Richard Pine. Dear brother of Jean Pine, Beulah Abtossway, Sheila Pine (Ernie), Billie (Don), Jake Pine (Yvonne), Blanche Pine (Cameron), Richard Pine (Rhonda) and the late Lucille Taylor. Special uncle to Barbara Fisher. Friends may call at the Community Centre in Garden River on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 from 4 pm. Funeral service from the Community Centre on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at 3 pm. Miss Lana Grawbarger officiating. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery in Garden River.
