With a broken heart and many tears, I am writing this to say goodbye to my only son. Daniel Brian Pittendrigh. Danny came into this world on Wednesday July 17, 1968, at 7:30 p.m. He was happily welcomed by all.
Beloved son of Wendy Maluorno (Billy) and the late Albert Pittendrigh. He will be greatly missed by his partner Tammy Whitten, who he loved very much and was always there for him. Much loved Grandson of the late Elmer and Noreen Hudson. Loved by his siblings Christine St Pierre (Frank), Sandra Pittendrigh, Patricia Pittendrigh/Miller (Joe), Ashlee Pittendrigh (James Eder) and Tammy Pittendrigh (Chris French). Uncle to Dennis Periard. VERY TALL UNCLE to Miranda (John) Courtney, Britney (Tyler), Deborah and Dale (Hannah). Great Uncle to Brooke, Landen, Wyatt Robbins, and Phoenix Pittendrigh-Hooey. Nephew of Brian Hudson (Maureen), Wayne Hudson (Dina) and the late Vicki and Bob Allard. He will also be missed by all his many cousins. Each and everyone knew Danny in their own special way.
Danny’s life was filled with many ups and downs, rights and wrongs, but the one thing that always remained solid was his love for his family.
When people in Danny’s life passed away, he always played Led Zeppelin’s, Stairway to Heaven. So, I ask you to remember and honour Danny’s life by taking a moment and listen to Stairway to Heaven.
A Celebration of Danny’s Life will be held on Sunday September 22, 2024 from 1:00-5:00 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 (96 Great Northern Rd).
