Peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice, with his wife by his side on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of over 53 years to Marny (nee Jackson). Loving father of Tim Pollard, Tyler Pollard (Shannon) and Carrie Pollard (Marie-Claude Larose). Proud and loving grandfather of Myles and Brett. Dear brother of Ann McHale (late Reg), Jane Jones (late Laine), Edith Orr (late Jim), Susan McCooeye (Eric) and the late Richard Pollard (Doreen). Brother-in-law of Wanda Jackson (Al Ogaki), Joanne MacLeod (late Joe), Vicki Scully (Barry) and the late Barry Jackson. Peter will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Peter was a man of many talents. He was a farmer, sawyer, builder, craftsman and inventor. His incredible intellect and insight in a wide variety of areas was well known and throughout his life, Peter generously shared his expertise and time with others when consulted. His forever nickname will be Mr. Fixer-Upper. Thank you to Dr. Spadefora and Dr. Wilson, ARCH and the many nurses and homecare workers who visited him at home on a daily basis.
