Peacefully at Mauno Kaihla Koti on Thursday, June 30, 2005 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Heimo. Loving mother of Ritva Norrgard, Jorma Poranto (Ann) and Marikka Koskela (Pentti). Grandmother of Missy (Les), Kevin (Paula), Minna (Paul), Esme (Brian) and Tiia (Jeff). Great grandmother of Michael, Thomas and Matthew. Dear sister of Pertti (Tuovi) and Sylvi of Finland. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, July 4, 2005 from 1:30 p.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff of Mauno Kaihla Koti for their loving care and compassion.
