Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by Harold and Alberta Powley, brother Steve (surviving Brenda). Loving father of Scott (Apryl Jodoin), Penny, David, Cory James (Diana) and Kathy James (Jason LaFord). Proud grandfather of Danielle (John Pino), Samantha, special Papa to Ashley, Alisha (John Luxton), Ryan, David, Tasha, Maranda, Matthew, Donny, Jayden and Jessy; Great-Grandfather to many. David is survived by his sister Robin and his brother Lee.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522) on Monday November 1, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm. A celebration of David's life will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Sault Ste Marie, Ontario on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 1 pm.
