Passed away peacefully at his home in his 78th year, on Sunday March 6, 2022. Richard was the son of the late Luigi and Thresa Pravisani. He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Perrin, Rosemary (late John) Legacy, Josephine Day, and predeceased by his sister Mary Ledubec (late Peter) and his brother Peter Pravisani.
He leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Jacqueline Jahnke (Kane), Marc Rahn, Christine (David) Fix, Steven Legacy (Linda), Kevin Legacy (April), Jennifer Legacy-Hamilton, Kevin Day (Julie), Brian Day and Jason Day, as well as many great nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew. Richard will also be greatly missed by his family and friends who hold him dearly in our hearts.
Richard was thought of being epitome of cool by nieces and nephews, he was nick named the “Fonz” in the 1970’s with his motorcycle and slick black leather jacket a name that would follow him throughout his life.
A private graveside internment has taken place. In Richard’s memory, memorial donations may made to the Canadian Mental Health Association (Payable by cheque or online at www.cmha.ca/branches/sault-ste-marie-branch).
