Our father passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 following a lengthy illness at the age of 83.
He was the beloved husband of the late Joan Premo (nee Van Daele). Loving father of Edwin Premo (Shelly), Joanne Premo and Barrie Premo (Amber). Bob was born on November 24, 1935 and was predeceased by his parents Lewis and Nellie Premo. Brother of the late George Premo (late Gladys), late Peggy Pederson (Andy), late Harry Premo (late Teresa), late Lorette Paulson (late Arthur), Isabelle Olar (late Walter), late Ellen Major (Alex ‘Jr.’) and the late Edward Premo (late Laura). Papa to Dawna (Frank), Matthew (Carly), Tiia, Skylar, Kaleb, Austin and Carter. Great papa to Jayden. Fondly remembered by Dawna and Matt’s mother, Debbie. Bob will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Our father was touched and appreciative of the love and support that he had received over the last few years.
Our family would like to thank his neighbors especially Harold and Barbara Thompson, Randy Grexton for getting him out with his buddies when possible, his PSW Jamie for the friendship, Karen for always looking out for him, Dr. Hill, Dr. Booth and Dr. Campagna for extraordinary care. For his Nurses Brandie and Leo who always put a smile on his face and last but not least the Nurses and staff at the SAH Cancer Clinic. Thank you all for making a long hard road a little easier for our father.
Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E., 705-759-2522) on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1:00 pm with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
