It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Tauno at Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Arja for 55 years. Loving father of Anita Pucci (Franco) and late Kenny (Sarah). Proud Pappa of Michael and Amy. Son of the late Aino and Aarne Rantanen. Dear brother of Toini (late Risto), late Tuula, Timo (Leena) and Tapio (Eija) (late Riitta) all from Finland. Brother-in-law of the late Pauli, Seija (Matti) and late Iippo. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A private service was held at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 3 pm. Pastor Brad Mittleholtz officiated. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to A.R.C.H or Ontario Finish Resthome Association would be appreciated.
