REID, Grace Paulina

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother Grace Paulina Reid in her 93rd year at the F.J. Davey Home on Sunday, March 10, 2019. Daughter of the late Arthur and Clara Church.  Predeceased by her husband Ted and her companion Dominque Frechette.  Loving mother of Shirley Lapish (Jim), Donna Lambert (late Art), late Ina Pitre (late Jocko), Roberta, Margie Schryer (Joe), Ted (Carol), Jeanie Lapish (Wes), late Carol, late Kelly and late Joseph.  Sister of the late Joe, late Jimmy, late Lottie (late Wes), late Lucy (late Reg), late Hattie, late Annie, late Bill (late Florence), late Leslie, late Alan (late Shirley), Lloyd (Ellie), David (late Irene) and late Helen (late Mervyn).  Grandmother of sixteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.  Survived by many nieces and nephews.  We would like to thank the staff on Apple Orchard 2 for outstanding compassionate care our Mom received.  Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522) on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.  Funeral Service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m., Mrs.  Helen Smith officiating, followed by cremation.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions (payable by cheque) to the F.J Davey Home Foundation, Lung Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
