Ruth Renner passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2002 at the Wilson Memorial General Hospital, Marathon, Ontario in her 83rd year. Daughter of the late Bill and Mable Marr. Mother of James (Ellen) of Prince George, B.C. and Russell (Elsie) of Marathon, Ontario. Grandmother of Philip (Martina) of Germany, David (Shelley) of Marathon, Kevin (Jackie) of Marathon, Mark (Bobbi) of Saskatoon, Lynell (Lori) of Prince George, B.C., Stevie (Jennifer) of Courtney, B.C., and Peggy (Don) of Prince George. Great grandmother of Samantha, Gary, Alycia, Erica, Barry, Gary, Steven, Danny, Kyra Marie, Dustin, Jessie, and Dillon. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 18 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 10:00 a.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment at West Korah Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Society, Parkinson's Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
