June 1, 1937 - August 21, 2021 - Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of William (Bill) Rhodes for 59 years and the late Ronnie Jensen. Loving mother of Skip Jensen (Lou), Bonnie Jensen, Marie Amato (Jim), Cathy Jensen (Rhonda), Kelly Latvanen (Randy), Bill Rhodes (Shawna), Scott Rhodes and Andrew Rhodes (Donna). Cherished Grandmother of 16 and Great grandmother of 11. Daughter of the late Harry and Molly Woods. Dear Sister of Pat Phillips, Colleen Thompson, Barb Arsenault, Sharon Jones and predeceased by Theresa Bowier and Mary Erickson
Catherine was a dedicated employee at the YMCA for 29 years where she was Membership Director. She gave many free memberships to those in need. She was also a devoted member of the Royal Purple Lodge #155 for 51 years.
In respecting Catherine's wishes a Private Family Service will be held. Rev. Pat Woods officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. (Masks and physical distancing required). A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to Light the Cross and The Royal Purple Lodge #155 would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank her grandchildren; Katie Deschamps, Laura Jensen, Ray Trecartin, Dr. Apostle, the Nurses from Bayshore and the PSW's from Care Partners for the loving care of Catherine.
