Karen passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at NSHN-Blind River, in her 60th year. Beloved mother of Justin and Brandon. Grandmother of 3 grandchildren. Cherished sister of Brenda Parent and Neil Richards. Treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ivan and Margaret Richards and siblings Diane, John, Barbra, Robert, Margaret, Kenneth, Merideth, James and Ivan.
Karen was artistic and enjoyed arts and crafts such as sewing, beading and ceramics. Family was very important to Karen. She was extremely supportive and always willing to listen. She treasured family gatherings. We will forever miss her delicious and beautifully decorated cakes.
A private burial in her hometown of Blind River at Hillside Cemetery, will take place at a later date.
