Scottie Ritchie, born on June 26, 1968, in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada, passed away on September 6, 2024, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Vickie, and his children: Christopher (Makkala), Nikkie (stepdaughter). He was especially excited to welcome his granddaughter, Iyla, into the world.
Scottie had a passion for golfing and often joked that he should have turned pro, demonstrating his love for the sport throughout his life. A true food lover, he relished lobster tails and steak, always seeking out the best meals, especially when at home or on adventures. He also enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of reality television, with shows like "Wicked Tuna" capturing his attention.
A kind-hearted individual, Scottie often performed generous acts without seeking recognition. He will be remembered for his warmth and thoughtfulness, as well as his love for family and the joy he found in life’s simple pleasures. He is survived by his father, Billy, and is being welcomed by his mother Judy. Sadly missed by sisters Tina (Ron), Nancy (Vince) and brother Skyler (Tracy). Wonderful uncle to Brandon, Brody, Kayla, Cody, Nicole and Lindsay. Along with numerous friends and family who will miss him dearly.
