Suddenly at his home in Echo Bay on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Jean (nee McCarrel). Loving father of Carol Hicks (Frank), Ken (Mary) and Linda Stevenson (Alex). Cherished grandfather of Kristin (friend Jason), Amy Hicks, Justin Robbins, Samantha, Luke Stevenson. Clarence is predeceased by his parents Fred and Ethel, brothers Fred, Raymond, Stanley, twin grandchildren Sarah, Ken Robbins and nephew of the late Amy MacDonald. Loving nephew of Irene Little of England. Also survived by special sister-in-law Iona Robbins and many nieces and nephews. Son-in-law of the late Archie and Mary McCarrel. Brother-in-law of Wilbur Wright (late Annie), late Johnny and the late Beulah McCarrel (Scott), Mary Williams (late Harry), Art (Vi) McCarrel, Irene Carter (late Harold), Phyllis Smith (Don) and Reta McCarrel. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 from 12 pm until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. Rev. Dr. Bryan Lapier officiating. Interment Aberdeen Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer clinic, Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
