It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mike Robinson into the spirit world, at the young age of 56 on Friday, April 22, 2022.

Mike passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with his family by his side. Mike was a dedicated and loving husband to his beloved wife Joanne (Belleau), an incredible father to his son Michael, daughter Dayna O’Leary and son in-law whom he called his second son, Johnnie, a great friend to whom he considered one of his best buddies, Darwin and his most cherished title, an amazing Papa to his two grandchildren, Mackenna and Adley. Mike is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Suanne. He is survived by, as well as his children and grandchildren, his sisters Myrna, Barbara and Claire. From his sisters, his nieces and nephews, Erin, Danielle, Kelci, Andrew, Alicia, Tony , Ricky(predeceased), Rob and his special little niece to whom he was a father figure to, Natalie.

Also, beloved brother in-law to Sonny, Bud(June), Butch, Blaine(Susan), Betty(Dolphus), Dana, Gary, Carol(Linden), Karen(John), Birdie, Chris(Darlene), And Jen(Ron). Mike was a gentle, kind and caring man who no matter the cost, always put his family first. The love and confidant for his wife, the friend and uncle to his nieces and nephews, the loving and guiding father to his children and son in-law, and the extraordinary papa to his grandchildren. To his family, Mike was the center of their world. Mikes journey through life touched many, with anyone who had the pleasure of meeting being more blessed in their own life.

He had many passions, be it cars, music or The Waltons, but none compare to his passion for his family. With his passing, he has taken a piece of the heart from everyone who knew him, but we take solace knowing his spirit watches over and guides us forever. Baa-maa-pii Mike, niinwi zaagi’idiwin nipiji ninaabem, nisaye, nindede, inzhishenh igaye nimishomis.
