Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with family nearby, on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at the age of 54. Tom will be dearly missed by his best friend and partner Lynn Ault Brown and her children Ema and Cooper. Beloved son of Elaine Lees (nee Miller) of Sault Ste. Marie and the late George Robinson. Cherished brother of Janice Girardi (Mitch) (the late Michael), Dennis (Doris), Georgina McBain (Alan), Brian Lees (Susan), Sharon Lees (Paul), Linda Mador (Dean) and brother in law of Liliana Lehtinen (late Bill). Favourite uncle to many adoring nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, including special niece and nephew, Joshua and Mara Lehtinen. Tom will also be missed by his many friends from the North Shore area, where he lived for many years, and his former co-workers from Algoma Steel and the Echo Bay Co-op.

Tom loved sharing in his passions for hunting, fishing, football, camping, shooting and hockey, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Tom was a talented artist and, in his prime, loved playing hockey at the Zukerdome where he grew up in Bayview and in the Echo Bay area where he lived for many years. When he was able to, he was always there to lend a hand to people in need. Tom could often be found supporting his nieces and nephews at their extracurricular events, and visiting family in Thunder Bay and Pic River First Nation. He loved spending time in the woods and shared a special bond with his dog Tanner.  We will all miss his kindness, thoughtfulness and playful spirit.

A virtual Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held for family and friends on Saturday, May 16th at 7pm on ZOOM. If you would like to participate please e-mail CelebratingTomRobinson@gmail.com and details will be forwarded to you. As per Tom’s request, some of his ashes will be buried with his father at Cloudslee Cemetery near Bruce Mines, Ontario.

Tom’s family would like to thank the wonderful and caring healthcare workers at the Sault Area Hospital for their compassion and the excellent care they provided Tom.
