Peacefully passed away at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 at the age of 79, one day before their 60th wedding anniversary with her soulmate Richard.
Left to celebrate her memory are her adoring children Tammy Lavallee (Chris) and David (Cathy). She is now reunited with her late children Nancy and Michael (Michelle). Adored Baba of Marysa, Samantha Faeth (Adam), and Sarah Rogozynski, Elisha Lavallee, Caitlyn, Megan and Madison Rogozynski. Great Baba of Rowyn Faeth.
Predeceased by her parents William and Estelle Salo, and sisters Joyce, Judy, Brenda, and Sandi. Also predeceased by Richard's parents William and Nancy Rogozynski. Loved sister in law of the late Anne Scherbak (late George) and the late Mike Rogozynski (late Trudy). Survived by sister-in-law Stella Brown (late Delmar). She will be fondly remembered as a kind and caring Aunt by her many nieces and nephews.
Marlene was lucky to have enjoyed countless adventures with her many close life-long friends and was fiercely devoted to all of the people she loved. Christmas Breakfast will never be the same. The memory of her beautiful smile and caring heart will be cherished by all who loved her.
