Passed away peacefully at the FJ Davey Home on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the age of 78. He was the beloved brother of the late Beverley Brandt (Bernie), late Madeline Heather and Kevin (Carol). Predeceased by his parents Eileen Swift (late Jim) and Wes Ross. He will be missed by his niece Natasha (Roy), nephew Brendan (Denise) and his great nephews Kieron, Daegan, Torrin and his great niece Adria. John was a good listener and good friend to his buddies in Tarentorus, Batchewana, Goulais River, Heyden and the Sault. John loved the outdoors, old cars and fishing. A special thank you to his care givers at the FJ Davey Home, who were there for John throughout his illness. At John’s request, a private family graveside service will be held.
