July 8, 1951 - August 24, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Charles Ross on August 24, 2024, at the age of 73.

He was a man that loved a beer during the game, pulling pranks on his family and sharing stories about growing up on Brien Ave and camping at Brimley and Batchawana.

More than that, he loved his family.

He will greatly be missed by his beloved partner and best friend Shelley. A proud father to April (Brad) and Kyle (Morgan) and stepfather to Rory (Kayla) and Amber (Mike). His grandchildren and great-grandchild will miss his Sunday coffee visits and how he liked to tease them.

Paul is predeceased by his parents Bill and Betty. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters Brian (Kathy), Connie (Donnie), late Bill (Pat), late Jim (Debbie), Tim, David (Cindy) and Laurie (John). He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Paul had a playful spirit. He loved handing out nicknames and often sparked laughter and fun by starting food fights at the family dinner table. He turned ordinary moments into cherished memories.

Paul was an avid sports fan. He loved playing basketball, baseball and golf. He could often be found cheering on his favourite teams, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Green Bay Packers, with unwavering loyalty.

A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at O’Sullivan Funeral Home from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Tracy’s Dream (payable by cheque or online at www.tracysdream.com)

Every athletic season has a beginning and an end. While Paul’s season has come to an end, we take comfort in the fact he is no longer in pain. He can watch over all the people he loves. And he’ll never miss another Packers, Raptors, Leafs or Jays game.
