Herbert Rowlinson passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, and went to be with his Lord, Jesus, on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Thelma Margaret (Rose) for 63 years. Dear son of the late Elizabeth and Fred Sr. and son-in-law of the late Mary and George Rose. Loving father of Joanne Daynard (Harold), Ron (Alison), Linda Vandette (Rod Preston), Ruth Kelso (Bruce), Patricia Stephens (Mark). Dear grandfather of Suzette Gomes (Joe), late Brent Rowlinson, Shelley Aikens (Connelly), Debbie McCarthy (Mike), Lisa Burgess (Chris), Megan and Alisha Rowlinson, Kim Daynard (Mario), Harold Daynard Jr. (Debra), Corey Daynard, Tim Vandette (Jackie), Chris Vandette (Doris), Brant Kelso, Bryan Kelso (Heather), Hugh, Caleb, Nathan, Marcus and Patrick Stephens. Blessed with 21 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Rex (late Una), Lloyd (Hilda), Cliff (late Thelma), Daisy Wilson and the late Fred (Della), Jim (Ruby), Ellen Speers (George). Dear brother-in-law of Georgina Speers (late Bob) and the late Evelyn and Gib Beauchamp. Uncle and friend to many. Herbert was a veteran of WWII. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, March 23, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at People's Pentecostal Church on Monday, March 24 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Murdock officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to People's Pentecostal Church would be appreciated by the family.
