Passed away after a brief illness at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 3, 2005 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Laina. Dear father of Elviira Mancuso (Jim), Carol Filippone (John), Marilyn Coates (Earl), Lyle Salomaa (Mary) all of Sault Ste. Marie and Sandra Schmid (Vince) of Hanmer. Grandfather of 16 and great grandfather of 14. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. At Arvo’s request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 12 noon. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
