With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our cherished mother, peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with her family by her side, on December 21, 2019 at the age of 81. Beloved wife and eternal partner of the late Gordon Sayers. Loving mother of the late Donald (Kerry), late Jon (Lynn), Brenda (Darcy McCormick), Rosalee Boissoneau (Terry), Jim Sayers (Diane), Donna May Sayers-Lariviere (late Robert), Pamela Jean Keeshig, Jenny Sayers (Mike) and Joe Tom Sayers (Carol). Mom had a unique connection and special name for each of her 72 grand, great-grand, great-great-grand children who will miss her dearly. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Hazel Goodfellow. Dear sister and best friend of each of her twelve siblings: the late Allen Goodfellow, Viola Gilbraith (late Charles), late Ellen Goodfellow (late Jean), Deanna Dugas (late Garnet), Forbie Goodfellow (Helen), late Dennis Goodfellow, late Gladys Goodfellow (Terri), Roland Goodfellow (Linda), Linda Goodfellow (Heather), late Margaret Goodfellow (Elzena), Gordon Goodfellow (Armando) and Holly Goodfellow (Ellen). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East- 705-759-2522) on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Lana Grawbarger officiating. Cremation will take place. Following the service, the family would like you to join them in the celebration of mom's life at the Moose Lodge on Trunk Road. Her final resting place will be in "Big Beautiful Batchawana Bay - God's Country" at the Graveyard in the spring. Memorial donations (payable by cheque) made to ARCH, SAH Cancer Care Fund or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
