With a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend at Sault Area Hospital, in her 81st year. She has been reunited with her beloved husband, Richard and her children Richard and Billy Joe. Proud and loving mother of Robin Sayers (Tatiana), Cindy Sayers, Kim Patrakka (Pekka) and Anna Patrakka (Pertti). Grandmother of Peter, Marko, Sierra (Brandon), Cheyenne (Jonathon), Montana (Trent), Tiffani, Darius and Beej. Sister of Marjorie Vincent, Joan Morningstar, Janet Tessier (Dennis), the late Paul Vincent (Jackie), Don Vincent (late Jean), Mervin Vincent, Mike Vincent (Linda) and Robert Vincent (Carrie). Will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and tending to her flowers. She also liked knitting, crafting and going for car rides in the country. Elvis was her favorite, and she was known to sing and dance to his music. She liked to cook and have her family over for visits, especially her kids and grandchildren. We will miss her phone calls and her company…she was our rock.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Mississauga First Nation Community Hall, 154 Village Road, MFN, on Thursday, February 10, 2022 beginning at 11am. Funeral mass will be held at Mississauga First Nation Community Hall on Friday, February 11, 2022 beginning at 12pm with Father Clarence officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home.

We regret to announce that we must postpone the visitation and service of the late Phyllis Sayers. Visitation will now be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 beginning at 11am at MFN Community Centre with service to follow at MFN Community Hall on Friday, February 18, 2022 beginning at 12pm with Father Clarence officiating.
