Passed away peacefully at Algoma Residential Community Hospice with family by his side on Thursday March 29, 2018 in his 90^th year.  Beloved Husband of Julia Schoenberger for 64 years. Cherished father and mentor of Pat (Terri). Proud Opa of Lisa, Nancy, Richard (Alison), Amanda (Geoff) and the late Jason. Great Opa of Celine, Jaxson, Katelyn and Rylie. Brother of Elfrieda and predeceased by Edward and Gertrude. Special uncle to Edith (Joe), Herbert, Heidi and many more nieces and nephews in Europe. At Herbert's request no funeral service will take place. Memorial contributions to Heart and Stroke and ARCH would be greatly appreciated.
