It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Reginald Charles Scott. Reg passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in his 83rd year. Reg is now reunited with his loving wife Alberta (Bertie) Scott. Predeceased by his parents Fredrick and Margaret Scott. Beloved father of Melonie Wonnacott (Tom), Buelah Lebel (Raymond) and Steve Butler (Michele). Poppy will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Nicole Wonnacott (Justin), Lindsay Wonnacott (Keegan), Joey Lebel, Amanda Parcells (Ryan) and Krista Butler. Great Grandfather of Lexi Butler. Reg will be fondly remembered by his 10 siblings and many nieces and nephews and long-time friends Ron and Debbie Moffatt and Bob Dawson. Reg was an ADSB retiree and always took pride in his work. He lit up the room with his contagious smile and never ending jokes. Everyone laughed a little harder when Poppy was around. At Regs’ request there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the paramedics Steve and Karen, OPP officers Damien and Manuela and Taylor, Ken and Brad from the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel for their care and compassion during this difficult time. Memorial donations in memory of Reg can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
