Passed peacefully away on Sunday July 21, 2024, at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family, after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
Ray was born on St. Joseph Island on June 25, 1943. Ray was predeceased by his parents Wilson and Myrtle See, his son Mark (2024), sisters Audrey (the late John Moore), Peggy, Charlotte, Cindy and by his brothers Dan (the late Elisa) and Archie (Betty).
Leaving behind his wife of 41 years Carol Ann, his daughter Cindy, his son Erwin (Carla), his brother Jim (Terry), grandchildren Caitlin, Ethan and Landon, Papa Ray’s four precious granddaughters Paislee, Mia, Adelynn-Ann and Harley Rae and his adopted daughter Carolynn (Andrew). Ray will be missed by his buddy and brother-in-law Calvin (Peggy) and many nieces and nephews.
At Ray’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral. Following cremation Ray’s ashes will be brought home to St. Joseph’s Island.
