It's with great sadness we announce the passing of Joan on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the Sault Area Hospital in her 80th year. Beloved wife and soul mate of Joseph for 48 years. Mother of Roy (Sharon), Barbara, Donna (Doug), Laura and Dan. Grandmother of nine and great grandmother of many. Sister of the late Tom Punkari (late Airi). Favourite Aunt of Lauren (Dewar), Dale and Cathryne. At Joan's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Interment in Goulais River Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque) in Joan's memory to SAH Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
