May 28, 1938 – April 15, 2023

As the birds sang on a beautiful sunshiny afternoon, Marsha peacefully passed away with her children by her side on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Being a mom was one of her greatest accomplishments and she was very proud of her 3 children. She will be missed and forever loved by Carl (Lynn) Rosso, Patti (late Curtis) Bishop and Anthony Rosso.

Her grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Parlow, Nicole (Paul) Caputo, Alaina Bishop (Sebastian), Michael (Megan) Rosso, Lindsay, Alex & Jason Rosso, brought her so much joy. She loved to bring us back little trinkets from her travels to let us know she was always thinking of us. We will miss listening to her stories about working in her yard (she always had the prettiest flower gardens). We will smile (maybe even dance), every time we hear salsa music and think back to wearing the Sombrero in the basement kitchen.

She was an incredible great-grandma and doted over Brooks, Seamus & Liam, Stellan & Elowyn and Adelina.

Our family is forever grateful for the love and friendship shared between Mom and her special friend, Michael Lusak.

Predeceased by her father, Anthony Jackson, mother, Laila Bonamico, husband, Murray Shoemaker and Tony Rosso, father of her children.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held later in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The family would like to thank the F.J. Davey Home, especially the staff, residents & their families on Cedar Grove 2 for their care & friendship offered during Marsha’s time there.

Memorial donations can be made to the F.J. Davey Home Foundation. (Payable to or online at www.fjdaveyhome.org/donations).
