August 3, 1959 – June 19, 2024
We are devastated to announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend. Husband and best friend of Sheena (nee Hoffman) for 33 years. Loving father of Matthew (Hilary), Nicholas (Layne) and Katie (Campbell). Special grandpa of Charlie. Fun loving brother of Bud, late Jerald, Allan, late June, Dawna, Gail, Dale, late Pat and Stephanie. Son of the late Daniel Siemens and late Joy Hagen. Don will be deeply missed by Sheena’s siblings, Roxanne (late Jerry) and Michael (Rhonda) as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues.
You could always find Muskrat fishing on Peshu Lake in the wintertime with his son Nick and his buddies Ron and the late Greg.
Muskrat will be forever remembered for his love of family and friends, his sense of humour, strong work ethic and his dedication to the Huron Shores Fire Department.
Don’s trucker friends are asked to gather at McDougall Fuels, 103 Station Road, Thessalon, on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 12pm to form a truck processional to Pine Grove Cemetery for a graveside service and burial at 1pm.
