Bob passed away peacefully at Sault Area Hospital on March 21, 2022, at the age of 79.
Devoted husband of Theresa (nee Bellini) for 53 years. Proud dad of Jennifer Lachowich (Dan) and David (Cortney). Much loved grandpa of Ryan and Tyler Macknight. Step grandfather of Sydney and Rachel Lachowich. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Eugenie Skerl, his brothers Carl and Victor and sister Marlene. Survived by his sister Irene, brother Richard, brother in law Larry Bellini (Ellen) and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank mom and dad's neighbours for always lending a hand when needed. We would also like to thank Doctors Jonusaitis, Ciaschini, Shafiee, the many hospitalists and specialists, and all of the wonderful nurses in ED and 3C for their care over the years. A special thank you to Sheila Angus, Dr. Wilson, Dr. Buehner and the nurses on 3B for their care and compassion during Bob's final days.
