August 1941 – January 2021 - With great sadness Robert’s family announces his passing at the Sault Area Hospital with his loved ones by his side. He was the dearly loved husband of Lucille for 59 years, the most loving and supportive father of his daughters Wendy (Lino Pistor) and Jennifer (Mark Jean) and devoted grandfather of his treasured grandson Bobby Jarvis.
He was predeceased by his parents Mary and John Smith, his parents-in-law Nancy and Nick Muscatello and brother-in-law Wayne Muscatello. Dear brother of Lucille Clarke (Stephen), Joan Blanchette (Ernie), Richard Smith (Marie), David Smith (Marie), Linda Sheehan (Robert) and Rosemarie Williamson (Dale). Robert will be remembered by his nieces, nephews and dear friends.
His family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of 3B for their compassionate care of Robert in his final days, and Fr. Veselko Kvesic for his spiritual guidance.
