Born Lillian Scarfone on February 14, 1928 passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at the age of 94.  

Daughter of the late Carmen and Eugenia Scarfone.  Predeceased by her loving husband Walter.  Devoted mother to Martin (Linda), Mary Ann Bentley (late Pat), Geraldine Tesolin (Orlando), Lizzy Young, Ron and Chris (Tamara).  Cherished Nanni Tricia (Matt), Krista (Mark), Brian (Courtney), Craig, Julie, Graham, Justin (Katelin), late Amber, Brittany, Meredith (Jesse), Kelsey (John), Joel and Jesse.  Great Nanni to Braeden, Avery, Alice, Kane, Cora, Grayson, Brantley, Addison and Brynlea. Dear sister of Sparky Scarfone (Anne) and predeceased by Josephine Lorenzo (Albert), Mary Gassi (Bruno), Tony Scarfone (Antoinette), Nora Ferroni (John), Joseph Scarfone (Lucy), Mim Scarfone (Olga), Rocky Scarfone (Beryl) and Mike Scarfone (Mona).  Aunt of many nieces and nephews.  

Lillian was a devoted organist and music director for over 50 years at St. Jerome's Catholic Church and organ teacher at Soo Piano for many years.

Family and friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 5 until 7 pm.  Funeral Mass from St. Jerome's Catholic Church on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10 am.  Rev. Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends are invited to view the service online starting at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 9, 2022 and can be viewed anytime up to 90 days.  Go to www.funeraweb.tv and select Lillian's name to view the service. Memorial contributions to the F.J. Davey Home or ARCH would be appreciated.
