Elvira Spina passed away peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Sunday, January 6, 2002 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Spina. Loving mother of Rosaria Zagordo (Garofalo), Josephine Buffone (Francesco), Joe Spina (Emma) and Frank Spina (Eda). Cherished grandmother of Mary Paradiso (Fern), Gino Zagordo (Paula), Lilliana Pino (Enrico), Loui Buffone (Carla), Johnny Buffone (Charlotte), Franca Buffone (Austin), Andy Buffone (Christina), Tony Spina (Kristen), Dave Spina (Debra), Ronny Spina (Trina), Robby Spina, Paul Spina and Steve Spina. Dear great grandmother of twenty. Dear cousin of Battista and Emilia DeRosa. Sister-in-law of the late Francesca Coccimiglio (Ferrante). Loving aunt to her nephews and nieces. At the request of the family, a private visitation for family will be held at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758).
