Gone to be with the love of her life, Lucien ‘Lou’ St. Germain and into the arms of her Lord. We regret to announce the passing of Jean St. Germain. Born January 25, 1938, she passed peacefully on August 23, 2022, at the age of 84, surrounded by the love of her friends.
She is predeceased by her husband, parents, in-laws and 5 siblings. Left to mourn is her oldest brother William ‘Bill’ Quinn, his daughter Kathy Cole and her daughters Rebecca and Andrea.
Jean will be dearly missed by her caregiver and friend Ronda Bailey and her long-time friend Jean Doherty.
Jean made a lot of friends at 55 Chapple and always greeted everyone with a smile. She was mostly found in the common room helping set up or clean after an event.
There are not enough words to thank the staff at Extendicare Maple View for the outstanding care you gave Jean. You really made her feel at home.
Cremation has taken place and as per Jean’s wishes, there will not be any funeral.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or to ARCH (Payable to or online).
