Born in the Gaspe Coast. Passed away peacefully at Algoma Manor, aged 102.
Beloved wife of the late Bert Steele. Loving mother of Gayle Hall (Irby) and the late Sandra Brash. Grandmother to Kathy Ellis, Mindy Hall (Jim) and Jody Orto (Nathan). Great Gramma to Adam (Lindsey), Tanya (Chris), Kennedy (Pat) and David. Great Great Grandmother of Daelyn, Hayden, Grayson and Noah. Predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters. Sister-in-law of Lorraine Leblanc.
Doris was independent and active until her 100th year. She loved her garden and tending to her flowers, especially her dahlias. She was a great cook and spoiled the grandchildren with her cookies and sweets.
We will miss you.

A private celebration of life will be held. Doris will be laid to rest in the spring with her husband.
