Passed away unexpectedly at the Sault Area Hospital on January 2, 2024, at the age of 80.
Cherished wife of Clarence Joseph St.Eloi for 59 years, loved mother of Michael Stephen St.Eloi (Luisa Martone), and adored grandmother of Marc Andrew St.Eloi.
Dear daughter of Angeline and Paul Emile Cote, both predeceased. Beloved sister of the late Micheline Welk (Percy Welk), and Denise Cote (late Herbert Loeper). Sister-in-law to Robert St.Eloi (Glenda Zuker), Linda Dumas (Yves Dumas) and late Debra Ducharme.
Adored aunt to Andrée St.Eloi-Chartrand (Rémy Chartrand), Danielle Dumas-Grenier (Chris Grenier), Sylvie Dumas-Leduc (Roch Leduc), Eric Ducharme, Camile Ducharme (Kim Ducharme), Dan Welk (Cecile Beaulne-Welk) and Jamie Welk.
Louise will be remembered for her work as an educator, her love of camping and her care of many fur babies over the years.
Special thanks to Jennifer Coutu, Nurse Practitioner, for Louise’s care and for advocating the long-term care application process to be reunited with her husband, Clarence at the F.J. Davey Home. In addition, special thanks to Sault Area Hospital’s unit 2C for their attention and care for Louise.
