At University Hospital, on Wednesday, August 31, 2005, Mrs. Maartje Stephens of London in her 90th year. Wife of the late Rev. Ted Stephens (1993). Loving mother of Tom and his wife Luella of Toronto, Judy McGinn of Blind River and her late husband Jerry (2002), Delmer and his wife Lynda of Sault Ste. Marie, Jane Westmorland and her husband Mike of London, John and his wife Louise also of Sault Ste. Marie. Also sadly missed by her sister-in-law Marguerite Stewart of Surrey, BC. Loved grandma of Janet, Kathleen, Michael, Mary Beth, Jennifer, Amy and her husband Louie, Stephanie, Shawn and his wife Maria, Jonathan, Graham, Katelin, Brendan, Tim and Matthew and three great grandchildren Kayla, Kristen and Ethan. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted at First St. Andrew's United Church, 350 Queens Avenue, on Friday, September 2, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Susan Shelstad officiating. Interment of ashes will take place on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville. Maartje's family wishes to express their thanks for the tender care she received at Chelsey Park Nursing Home.
