Dear husband of Mary (nee Cain) for 60 years. Respected Father of Tracy Stevens Tait (John) and Chad (Jennifer Mathison). Proud grandfather of Alexandra and Riley Marshall, Sam and Cole Stevens and Eric Ross (Jessica), and his great grandchildren Clive and Vesper Ross. Brother of the late Clive (Faye), Carrie McPhee (late Bob), Edwin (Ruth), late Wilfred (Dana), Sharon Farquhar (Gene), Wesley (Sharon), and Calvin (Julie). Special brother-in-law to Colleen and Jim Paat, Bonnie Muncaster (late Clare) and Joanne Cain. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Missed by many close cousins.
Harv, born on "the" Manitoulin, the third child of the late Gladys and Leonard Stevens came to St. Joseph Island at the age of two. Loved son-in-law of the late Marie and Alex Cain. Harv was an active member of the Hilton Community, a hockey and baseball coach, a long standing Central Algoma School Trustee, a master tradesman and businessman. He was an avid hunter and woodsman. This past November trip to his beloved Cockburn Island was his 52nd consecutive year. He will be sadly missed by his family in the hunt camp. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
