Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, September 5th, 2004 in her 86th year. Originally from St. Joseph Island and also a resident of Goulais River, Betty was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1986. Loved mother of Ron Stone, Geri White (Ian), Donna Hall and Versa Dean (Michael). Grandmother of Eric, Doug, Dwayne and Beverley Stone, Martin and Jeffrey White, David, Chris and Thomas Beaudette, Susanne Allman and Leslie Hallman. Great grandmother of 15. Dear sister of Marie Stone-Nokes (Jim), Gordon Rowat (Marion), Neil Rowat (Edna) and the late Percy Rowat, Bob Rowat and Minerva Rains. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 from 11 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating.
