At the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, a few days before her 85th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Allan "Sonny" Storey. Dear mother of Peggy Inkster (Bruce), Chris (Judy), Chuck (Debbie) and Mike (Linda). Dear grandmother of Kevin Merritt (Chantal), Christopher, Kaitlyn (Mark), Rebecca (Jesse), Cylina Wright (Steve), late James Inkster (Allison) and the late Wayne Merritt. Dear great grandmother of Katrina (Dyllen), Meghan (Devon), Addison, Brooke, Carter and great great grandmother of Darius and Grayson. Dear sister of late Joyce Reid, late John Beals (Claudette) and Ted Beals of Toronto; sister-in-law of late Charlie (Lizette) and the late Eleanor Husband. Many will remember Alice from her many years at the YMCA and Royal Life Saving Society. Our family is very thankful for the care provided to our mother during her stay on 2A during the past couple of months and the compassionate care from the ICU nurses, specially Shawna and Debbie. We were grateful to be able to bring Mom home for 5 days and we thank the Home and Community Care Support Services North East, Heli in particular, for all of their support in assisting us during this transition.
Due to COVID restrictions, there will be no visitation at this time. A Celebration of Alice's Life will be held at a later date. Donations (payable by cheque or online) to the SAH Foundation - Area of Greatest Need, ARCH, Muscular Dystrophy Canada, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
