With many memories and much love, we announce the peaceful passing of Janice at the age of 77.
Loving wife and best friend of the late Tom for 59 years.
Cherished mother of Michael (Phonsa) and Tracey (Ralph Sherwin).
Proud Nana to Courtney (Chris Rowland), Amanda Vorakoth (Sydney Parris), Amy Quangvan and Connor and Rachel Sherwin.
Great Nana to Aria, Peyton and Wesley Rowland and Kenna Parris.
Janice is predeceased by her loving parents Reid and Ida. Sister of Marlene Prokopchuk (Nick) and predeceased by Mary Carbone (Pat), Andrea Penno (Roy), Roberta Alexander (Bob) and Sheila Marshall (Duncan). Sister-in-law of the late Inez (late Henry), late Ann (late Howard), late Art (late Florence), late Clare (Gladys), late Leo (late Orlean), late Millie (late Clayton), late Henry (Marie).
She will be missed by Len (Linda) and Sulo Inberg and Sharon Copeland.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to her nieces Wendy, Nancy and Tina.
It is certain that Janice has left an imprint on the hearts of many friends and family and will surely be remembered fondly by her stories.
At Janice’s request there will be no service. Friends and family are invited to celebrate the lives of Janice and Thomas on Wednesday August 21st, 2024 at the Machine Shop/Steamfitters Lounge (83 Huron Street, SSM) from 5pm-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ARCH (payable online https://www.archhospice.ca/donate or by cheque) would be appreciated.
